- International Mass Spectrometry Conference (Maastricht) August 28-September 2, 2022
Planning for IMSC 2022 is proceeding at pace and this promises to be an exciting opportunity for our community to get together again after such a long time apart. Please remind you members that registrations and poster-abstracts remain open. I am very much looking forward to seeing many of you there.
- Franzen award
The IMSF is pleased to introduce the Franzen award (Sponsored by Bruker in honour of Jochen Franzen). The call for nominations is attached with the award recognising “...outstanding contributions to innovations in structural, spatial and/or separation analysis with mass spectrometry”. Nominations should be sent to the president of IMSF and are open until April 30th 2022.
- International Mass Spectrometry School (Belfast, Northern Ireland) April 24-29, 2022
The School will provide world-leading instruction in the arts and science of mass spectrometry for students and early career scientists and is proceeding as a face-to-face experience. Please see registration information at
- Call for bids to host the International Mass Spectrometry Conference (2026), Workshop (2023 and 2025) and School (2025)
The IMSF is now calling for bids from its affiliates to host the next available Conference (in 2026), Workshops (in 2023 and 2025) and School (2025). Call for bids are attached here and bids need to be returned to the IMSF secretary by June 17th 2022 for consideration and voting by affiliates at the business meeting at IMSC 2022 (in Maastricht).
