Shimadzu-SAEM Argentina Joint Grant Program 2025/2026

Aim of Establishment In alignment with our commitment to advancing scientific research across Latin America, Shimadzu do Brasil, in collaboration with the Argentine Society for Mass Spectrometry (Sociedad Argentina de Espectrometría de Masas - SAEM), is pleased to launch the Shimadzu-SAEM Argentina Joint Grant Program. This initiative aims to support promising research projects in the fields of natural products, metabolomics and proteomics that face limitations due to restricted access to high-performance mass spectrometry infrastructure.

This program mirrors our ongoing Brazilian initiative and extends the collaborative platform to researchers in Argentina, connecting them with analytical capabilities at our designated Core Facility in Brazil.

Targeted Research Areas

● Metabolomics research

● Natural products chemistry

● Proteomics

Length of Collaboration

● Each selected project may receive analytical support for up to 6 months.

● A maximum of 500 samples will be analyzed in the frame of the program.

● A maximum of 50 samples will be analyzed per research group.

Deliverables

● A final summary report must be submitted upon full report from the machine data.
